We survived our first year in Boston! Such a diverse and culturally rich town that we’re happy to now call home. Here’s a look back at what I’ve been up to this year:
December 2016: Performed with The Mistletones, a hipster caroling group with Songful Artists. Check us out!
November 2016: Began teaching dance at Hill House in Boston.
August 2016: Directed Altar Boyz at the Papermill Theater/Jean’s Playhouse in Lincoln, NH. This was such a fun experience and a great group of artists and theater professionals to work with. I got paid to live out my teenage fantasy of knowing the moves to N’Sync’s Bye, Bye, Bye (ain’t no lie!)
August 2016: Began #MooseQuest2016. I’ve been traveling to the moosier regions of our fine country for over five years and I’ve yet to see a moose. After some extensive searching for moose while in the White Mountains this summer I’ve still not seen a single moose, BUT I did manage to find lots of stuffed moose. I’m now convinced that moose are purely mythical creatures. But that’s ok, because now, #MooseQuest2017 is ON! I invite you to share your sightings on Instagram with the hashtag #MooseQuest2017 and I, too, shall continue my search. May the moose be ever in your favor.
July 2016: Shot a national commercial for General Electric. They really do bring good things to life.
April 2016: Fulfilled my childhood dreams of becoming a princess. But being a princess when you’re older is so much more fun, cause you’re also a feminist and you get to teach little girls to be beautiful AND empowered. For more info, visit Party Princess Productions.
May-July 2016: Worked as the interim Marketing Associate at the Huntington Theater Company. Met some great people. Everything you’ve heard about Boston theater is true-the artists here are truly a most supportive and encouraging bunch.
January-February 2016: Worked on the Broadway and Touring productions of Matilda the Musical.
